NordsGuesser is a location-guesser game set on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, 20.8 km (12.9 mi) of the most famous racing road on earth.

You see a screenshot from somewhere on the lap. You have a few seconds to drop a pin on the map and guess where it was taken. The closer your guess, the more points. Five rounds, 25,000 points up for grabs. Captures are sampled every 10 m around the lap from Assetto Corsa Evo, so the dataset covers the entire Green Hell: start straight, Karussell, Brünnchen, Döttinger Höhe, all of it.

I'm Luke (Roamy), a UX designer, sim racer, and Nordschleife regular. I've been out to the real thing many times in my 350Z, done thousands of sim laps, and raced plenty of iRacing N24s. NordsGuesser started as a passion project, a way to scratch that itch between track days. It's just me running things.
